Just wondering if anybody has ever disabled (on purpose) the "pull-up" safety mechanism on a Morse throttle control. It's the unit you need to lift up to switch between forward and reverse. I'm not sure which Eagle boats have the same one I do, but find it a big pain in me arse when loading on the trailer as it sometimes sticks. I'd like to get rid of it if I could. Mine's on a 2002 E6.
Good luck to all the racer's in the 2007 Worlds. Let er' buck!

I took mine apart and rounded the corner on the part you pull up. I only did the front side so I can go from neutral to WOT without pulling up on the knob. I didn't do the back side because when I'm sliding over gravel bars and stuff I throttle back and it catches in neutral instead of going into reverse.

Works great for me.

I can take a picture if that doesn't make sense.

Cheers

If you have a picture that would be great! Sounds like that would work good. Could I do it so it would go into reverse as well that way?
