I just watched the local Fish and Wildlife Officers try out their new 16ft Tomcat.
They were very happy with their new "enforcement" tool and are already busy justifying the purchase.
The first 4 contacts they made resulted in tickets.
Probably evil Fly fishermen who deserved to be hasseled.
Be forwarned that this boat must be justified like other government expenditures. There will need to be a quota of tickets to pay for this toy.
The boat is a green Tomcat and they are serious about their jobs.
They plan to use this boat on the Red Deer, North Saskatchwan and Brazeau Rivers.
Get your fishing license up to date and only have gator aid in you cooler.
Lets see how many tickets they can write at the spring run on the 12th of may _________________ You are not lost if you Don't care where you are |

Never mind the fishing license, but you better cover your A.s.s with the proper documentation for your boat! and make sure proper boat #s along with the compliance tags and plates, are in the right place.
And while we're at it if we don't get some kind of club or organization going, current owners and future customers are going to put through the ringer and hung out to dry.
This will come about from some of the abusive users on the water systems(not that there is any here)
With our current justice system you are guilty until proven innocent as far
as fisheries and wildlife goes.

I hear ya Baldman;
Up here on the NS there is a huge problem with these people.
They throw beer cans bottles of pop and all kinds of garbage on their way down, which incidentally contributes to the Jihad on the fish lol.
I have made arrangements to take Rangers on excursions in hopes of cleaning up some of this mess.
Cheers,
