I really don't have much except a small insert from the Roseburg Race last year. I am going to be at Roseburg this year, and at Riggins and I will have my camera(s) with me. I am still pretty new to this, I am hoping to get into it more and with some luck I will make the Rogue River race also.

Xero,
Just viewed the DVD, awesome job, thanks a bunch! I think you are missing your calling! I hear you are going to be racing in SJ, make sure you put a camera on 'er!
So, is there going to be an ad out soon for Xerophobic River Tours? I will be calling for a ride if I get near your neck of the woods, it looks like a blast!

I just got my DVD.

Thank you very much. I'm taking a look at it.

Seems you had a lot of fun while riding the boat, and that's the way it should be.

Once again, thank you very much.

I second that one!

Where can I get footage showing sections from the coarse we will be running on the Salmon this year? I've seen many still shots but video to study prior to the baptism would be great.

Mark you can get a video of the salmon race here for $25

Yea its a shame I didn't have your footage to add to the mix, especially the ill fated introduction by Harrison. Can you believe he actually said, and I quote, "lets see how wet we can get" LOL See I told everyone this was his fault somehow! we were doomed before my boat was even in the water LOL
Maybe Geoff's wife will finally understand what the hell he was doing that day, those cell phone calls were too funny LOL Im glad I got a bunch of that day on video, oh the memories! (and no Harrison the fishing guys don't say that bit about the sunk boat on tape, I just remembered that part when I saw it. I wonder if vince will like that bit when Im bailing the hull out in the dark saying I will send him some sweet footage LOL) Glad you got some of the demented tow back thru the swamp in the dark with the night vision cam. I'd forgotten how much of an ordeal we had even after the sun went down.
You guys rock (keep that hat!)
Is it April yet????

Very Happy

p.s. who made that Ford comment????? no more Coffee Crisps for them!

Sad

I can't help it, I grew up in Dearborn. I even worked for them for a time...and now I'm married to a Chrysler kid. But I still like my euro trash.

6 months later, that was the funnest day evah. Those waders saved my ass again this week as I had to retrieve my dock which was floating away in the flood water.

For future reference, I have a sound recording booth here at the office and can do good quality voice over if you write me a script. I can even get some pro narrators, but they all want to get paid....

Nice job James!

Marky and I watched it last night. Definitely makes me want to get back out on the water.

Hey Zero,
Just got my copy, kinda makes a guy sit on the edge of the chair !

I see the Fisherman up there don't wave any more than they do down here. I can't figure out if they are that startled or just hate us.

Your inspiration for an Aluminum Boat was the same as mine, same pictures !

Sorry I missed Michigan, if you ever go back let me know about a week in advance. Thanks for the DVD. Laughing Wink

They hate you and you'll get used to it!!! We have. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
Many fisherman think that they are the only ones that should be allowed to use the rivers. Just imagine it how you must *uck up their day; They start standing there at 08:45 hrs and they can hear you coming at 12:46 hrs you go by at 12:47 hrs and then they hear till 12:48 hrs and they go home at 17:55 hrs. So they are out there for 9 hrs and 10 minutes and you made noise and a wake for 2/3 minutes.
At least you can feel better about being fingered if you stop and pick up their garbage on the way home.

Yea, I know that ! It was just a lame attempt at wit . Shocked

They hate you unless they need your help or are relation, and I'm not sure about all relation. I've towed a few in and always try to put the nozzle up just enough to put a little mist in there boat. Twisted Evil Wink
Like you said, They already hate you. Rolling Eyes

I don't know about you, but when I tow someone they ride in there own boat that way everyone you see knows who is towing who. Laughing Cool

Xero,

Seen the vid the other day, great piece of work and enjoyed the "screaming past the fishing people" piece.

I see you have a lot of play in your steering. You may want to tighten that up. I have mine pretty close to bang on when it comes to turning. When I see something in my way quick, it is "TURN & HARD ON THE GAS!"

Hope you have still have the video on capture. Oh yeah, liked the bellhousing! Thanks again.

Its real satisfying hearing you guys get a kick out of the DVD. Makes the work seem alot more worth it.

Dave you're dead on in the analogy. The way I saw it that day we didn't even go out till afternoon and if they hadn't caught any salmon by then you're not likely too. The guy that threw the rock would have been aweful surprised if he'd made contact cause I am NOT affraid to drive up on shore next to him!

XKX there is some raw footage somewhere of post MI where you can see the motor lates really clearly and I do have the cad files for you somewhere. Sorry man I completely forgot about all that discussion but Vince was telling me your boat has been running strong. Enter BBFX next year with it LOL

Oh one more thing which may be obvious to those who have a copy, There is more footage after the credits so don't shut her down at that point. There are some stills and a "bonus track" which shows the first time we ran the Nottawasaga when it was waaaay shallower

Cheers
