you don't have to bend them down very far a turn or two and then take it for a spin we have ours turned down and run skinny water all the time and no probs we bent one the one time when the ass end swung out and nailed a rock but it would have bent anyway , I just bent everything back in place no sweat

why have trim tabs on a boat if you aren't going to use them ???

but yeah that nozzle will definetly help I might have to get one to
