Several years ago we got stopped coming back from a hunting trip on the Muskwa. I had a partial 6 pack sitting on the seat behind me. The cops could see it and took our booze away, gave me a breathalyzer but did not give me a ticket. He told me if I'd just had those beers out of site I would have been ok. I think a lot depends on your attitude as to how your going to get treated.
