Whitey is not in the hunt for the overall after yesterday. Sunset Shaker and The Bad Habit boys are still in there. Impact is looking good for "A" class. Ask Whitey about his sunburn. Sad
Here's some more pics

Finally got the Internet connection back up and running here and watched the you-tube video of Tim's boat. Fooook me a runnin. Unreal is about all there is to say. He and his crew have done some great work getting that boat from a wild pipe dream to reality. Unreal. Shocked Shocked Shocked
Continued good luck to all the guys racing.

That is a piece of boat history right there.
Tim should have named the boat "Holly Shit", because that phrase has probably been said a thousand times by now as he goes by.
Amazing.
Also, Great photos, Race Fan. You are doing a fine job of giving us poor soles up here a bit of the feeling. Very Happy

Check out the NZjetboating site and have a gander at Rob Thompsons battle with the worlds course! Duct tape won't fix that! Glad to hear the crew survived. Speedy recovery gentlemen!

Just heard that Tim & Ryan spun and ended up in the trees. They are OK, but the boat is a bit damaged. I hope they are back for the next leg. These two guys have very large balls and I really hope that they get running again.
It's the beginning of a new era in unlimited class.

Well the run hard not smart philosophy bit us in the ass today. We came into a riffle today on the decline from 130 mph in a straight stretch and it was not slow enough. the boat touched a slight roller and bucked us. We were about 20 feet from the bank on the left when the boat landed and hooked 90 degrees directly at the bank. A little ride through the bushes and back into the water we went. I figure we were int he 115 mph range when this happened.

Our steering cables broke in the trees or we would have continued. This turbine has been put to the ultimate test so far between pump cavitation and trees. It is an impressive piece of equipment. I hope Tim does not get any wise ideas up his sleeve to turn up the fuel? We still have nearly 200+ hp left in the girl, but 11 minutes to make up on Spencer is tough.

Looks like a BIG right on for Canada! Nice to see the King at the top again. Wicked job Tim Greber and Jay, with your C boat taking B class!
