Got a plastic wear ring installed over the weekend, gravel pumping results to be posted in the near future, stand by. Question

Quite impressed with the performance difference with the plastic wear ring, but did a weekend trip up the upper halfway and into the chowade river and ended up running some large amounts of gravel through. Did notice how quickly the performance disappeared, but probable more of a issue with the leading edge on the impeller, but I did notice some grooves in the plastic about 3-7 thou. Cleaned up the leading edge and try again this weekend. A great thing if you stay out of gravel and sand, time will tell but I doubt 100 hours is realistic.

I am sure Norris would love to here, better yet, go meet the guy and jump into the nav. side. He will put more than a few rocks through the pump just to see you smile!

well I wonder what has happened to upside down and his test on the uhmw wear rings any body heard or maybe they are better than he thought or maybe he is still out there on the river lol
