This is a question for Canadians:
Is there any insurance company up there that might cover medical expenses for injuries during the race??
Canada is a civilized country and it is more likely to find such insurance there. (Here in Mexico there isn't)
If someone knows something, please post.

Talked to my insurance dude today, he is unaware of any insurance available for out of country residents from Canadian Insurance Carriers while in Canada, he suggests that everyone have "out of country insurance" either with their employers group plans or their government health care plans if they have them, if you were fortunate enough to have life insurance before you started racing, you also may be covered, or maybe your travel agent may be able to get insurance for you while out of the country, all of the before mentioned suggestions would have to be implemented in the country of orign, he doesn't specialize in this are and are just some thoughts he has |
