Worlds Races June 29 to July 7

Just curious on the Burnt lake spring run.Where does it take place and is it a rally or just a gathering? Also about the Many Islands rally.Where does that take place?I can already see a re-morgage in the future, then straight to Shell. |

Burnt lake run, (first time with this title coincident with their new store) was planned for last year but was canceled. Its down again for '07 but may take on a new life this year with James to help organize. Unofficially was a group of guys doing some random drinking, camping, extreme boating type stuff on the Upper Red. Did I mention drinking.
The Many Islands rally is on the Peace River. Launch and camping access straight south of Worsley. |

Three of my favorite things. It would also be a new river to me and that's always exciting.Sounds like a can't miss deal, once it flys.-CL |

Obviously I wasn't around last year to know exactly what happened but the run this year will happen. Likely the Upper Red as has been said but details are not yet finalized.
This will likely not be the only Burnt Lake Run this year but we will be posting all the details right here so stay tuned

Burnt lake is the lake between Sylvan lake and Red Deer. I drains Sylvan Lake and flows to the Red Deer river. It is not a boatable river or lake as it is a bird sanctuary, and a generally a large swamp. The boat launch for the upper RDR is on Gennifer lake Dickson dam south of Spruceview on highway 54 between Innisfail and Caroline |

For those of you interested in the Race at Roseburg Oregon the river is in Very good shape, the short cut behind Elk Island has water in it but I don't think it is worth the bottom of your boat. We are getting some rain of and on but so far every thing looks pretty good.
