Could anybody give me some detailed information regarding winterizing my 2001 175 Sport jet. This is my first jet and living where it gets to -40 I want to make sure I cover all the bases. I have read different information regarding putting antifreeze down the flush. Is this necessary?? and How???? Really appreciate some help. _________________ Reverse |

It's my understanding that it's an oilbase substance that coats the internal's of your engine to prevent corrosion .It's best applied directly in the plug holes of each cylinder and can also be sprayed into the carb.(I've been told not running as it would just burn up but I've seen guy's do it while running.)it can be bought at any aotomotive store and is in a aresol can.Hope this helps. |
