Just wanted to send out some thoughts and encourage others to do so to Baldy and his family. Dave's dad passed away the other night. I never met him but I can imagine what kinda guy he was knowing what kinda guy Dave is. He was the first Albertan I knew from way back on the hotboat forum days before I even had an aluminum boat. Ill always apreciate the advice and friendship Dave óffered from day one over the net, and the continued friendship he offers living 2 min down the road.
So my thoughts and condolences to you and yours Dave

Thanks fellers.
It's been a tough haul for him after a bad stroke 6.5 weeks ago. Nasty.
He was a hell of guy and I'm real glad that we spent plenty of time together out at the house and later the shop. Big Oilers fan. Big F-1 fan. Former rally driver, doing the the Shell 4000 twice in the 60's. Going to miss him lots for a long time.

Sorry to hear of your father's passing. You have many memories, both happy and serious. Share some of the fun ones with your friends when the time is right. It really helps.
