Seeing as our dollar sucks so bad, looking at the west coast instead of the states for spring break. If I take my 21 Nahanni with me do I need to add any zincs or do any special prep for a couple of days in the salt water?
Boat is equipped with closed loop cooling system. |

No. It's kind to the exhaust manifolds to be flushed out, so pull the water feed line from the jet and shove the hose in it for a couple minutes to clear the salt water out of the heat exchanger and manifolds. Even if you don't, it won't be dissolved in the morning. Just hose everything down with fresh water, esp trailer brakes axle etc on your trailer.
We boat salt often over this side of the globe, 11 yrs, no worries. |

If I take my boat crabbing, I stop off at Stave lake on the way home and go for a ten minute rip. No launch fee there |
