So I have a 2001 outlaw lynx with a 175
motor has been changed out once this motor has aprox 400 hrs I just changed the reeds (old metal ones looked good no chips)
I did mix my fuel 100:1 for te first trip of the year
so I took the boat out and it ran perfect hit 5200 rpm with a 4 blade hi skew
Boat sat for a week then I went out again and it would only get 4900 rpm I only had a used set of plugs in the boat but changed them anyway still had the same problem
I checked throttle linkage, fuel filters etc
Boat starts perfectly and idle good
I'm going to put in new plugs and check again any other suggestions?

Other than "What kind of fuel are you using", I can't think of anything else, but probably the more knowledgeable guys at OE can.

Sounds like a computer doesn't want to lift up to 5200 RPM. You are probably up for engine scan....

Do a compression test while you're changing your plugs…
Where are you running the boat? Any chance the carbs froze?

another thing to really check out is to make sure your reverse bucket is not closing when giving it throttle ,must be up all the way and tight
