got a 1998 Eagle scout with a stock 350 in it with about 800 hours on it lookiing for a new drop in motor maybe something with a little more hp any help would be appreciated |

Call Southgate Chevrolet in Edmonton. Buy a ZZ383, bolts right in where your 350 is now. Pay a good mechanic to set uo the timing and carb. |

ZZ383 is a gm crate motor. They come complete long block with intake and valve covers. There have been lots sold up here where i'm from and they work really well. |

I put a 383 stroker in my 98 Eagle Scout 18ft, it's got around 500hp., and what a difference in the way it performs. After the build was complete it was more then a drop in Kodak 350 but cheaper then a drop in super charger 6.2L. |
