Thanks Farmer Grant

The merc website describes it as an assembly and the list price is $400 more that the 4 blade. Are there additional components (new shaft since it appears longer) or is it just a high $ option?

Unfortunately I just put a new 4 blade & wear ring in a few weeks back! But due to my driving habits (go till ya get stuck) I'll be getting a new one every season.

Yes, we do rebuild our old impellers. The impeller we're talking about is a new design for this pump. Better hookup in the bottom end, less cavitation in white water, and longer life when pumping gravel.

What change in RPM's did you get with this new impellor?

What about top end speed?

Does it fit all right as it seems longer?

Cheers
Brian

Smokey. What engine setup etc. do you have? 175hp? 240hp? What blade did you have origanally? What is the difference in WOT operation?

Cheers

I heard -250 RPM at WOT, and you loose 1 to 2 mph. I believe that was on the 240.

It had the standard impeller for the 240hp. WOT is down on speed, haven't checked speed with GPS yet. Maybe 1-3mph? RPM down at WOT 100-200 revs. Cavitation GONE!
