howdy all.lookin to install a stainless wear ring in my sport jet.wondering about specs:how heavy wall ,does it need to be keyed or set screwed to stop it from spinning,how much interferance fit ,what grade of stainlessetc..any info would be helpfull.i m pretty handy on a lathe ,but i would rather not do it by trial and error(especialy the error part).thanx.C

1/8" wall thickness, you will need at least 2 flathead screws to stop rotation of sleeve in housing, install them from the inside out with a jam nut on the outside, I used to put 3 screws in when I did them, (#10 screw size stainless steel). 0.005'' tight in housing, warm the housing up to shrink the sleeve in, it is not adviseable to hammer or press the sleeve in, if it cocks while installing it, the housing can split as it is not bery thick, finish machine after the ring is installed, Roger kehoe has some ss rings pre-made he may sell you one 780-466-6074

Roger made me an offer I couldnt refuse, said he'd trade my core wear ring plus afew bones for a sleeved one....thats too resonable to pass up..thanx again to alll for the info.cheers.C
