jesse not to be rude, but is this the same engine that kept shutting off on you at the worlds?. has the issue being corrected as I am interested in the engine.

Yup we fixed it before we got to Peace River. It was a faulty ign module. I think GM may have warrantied it also. _________________ Mark

Mark is right. We replaced the ignition module and never had a problem after that. We were pretty sure that it was the module as the engine would just quite, no sputter, no hesitation, no gradual rpm loss, just like someone would turn the key off after about 27 minutes of run time, and then majicaly start back up like nothing ever happened. This was frustrating as we lost about 30 seconds the first time it quite and a little over 3 minutes the second time, about the same amount we lost the World's by.
GM did warranty the module. _________________ It's always the Navigators fault! |
