Had her out yesterday in Fort McMurray on the cleareater...some numbers...
10 degrees C
approximately 1000 feet
Cut A stainless impeller
New intake grate with one less bar and quite a few Whiteside tuning hours
402" LS2 from Turnkey
5600 RPM 2 people 12 beer 1/2 tank of fuel
73 MPH on GPS
Still a little hard to start when cold...even out of water on trailer...?

I usually put in under the bridge in Cochrane, but it depends where you want to run I have also put in the ghost reservoir and run up to the next damn...not sure what its name is.
Water is real low right now might be a trick to run up from the ghost reservoir. The run from Cochrane either up to the ghost damn or down to the bearspaw is doable just have to pay attention.

Water up 1 metre from a week ago in Cochrane...easy to stay in channel and lots of backchannels to play in! Fishcops out checking on safety equipment and booze inventories though...He said jetboaters are bad for booze! I told him he had the wrong guys!?

Its not too bad in either direction from Cochrane as long as the water is around the 1.5 mark or higher...I was in earlier this spring water was less than 1 metre and still made it to both just had to move a little quicker! Just watch for gravel bars a few rocks and tubers mostly on weekends...scenery can be pretty breathtaking too watch for topless tubers! Where do you park your boat? I will try and post next time I head for the bridge maybe we can hook up for a rip!

Thanks Joker,
I'm in calgary, iwill keep an eye on the forum for the next time you head out and maybe we'll meet on the river or something.I broke in my boat on the upper section above the ghost a few weekends ago. I got tossed out of the rapid and hitted the wall pretty hard let's just say it was a good learning experience for my first river run and my boat has a very good scar to tell the story, anyway hope to see you out there someday take care
