Questions for the CX class guys:

There's a "ford style" front cover kit for this engine that allows to place a distributor.

Does anybody know who sells this kit?
Is this a GM product?
What's the part #???

88958679 LS Front Distributor Drive Cover.
The GM 88958679 front cover assembly is manufactured for applications where a 4-bbl carburetor and distributor are required. Im not sure which distributor is used but im sure MSD would make one.
