What rivers in southern Ab are you planin' to run? Ice is comin' down the Red Deer tonite south of Drum.

I know they say riverboats are the 4 wheel drive of the water but water is the key word, if the quads can get there maybe not enough water or momentum you choose. I like the pic. HAHA

A little of both. Smart like stick! I left my cell in the truck, had to walk out, and was on the opposite side of the Athabasca at Whitecourt. The beer sure tasted great after though!

The Oldman,Bow and the SSR.Lots of rocks just like in the picture so I need something lite. The ice is off the Oldman I need one of those salesmen to haul boat down here and let me test drive one.

I have a buddy that has a 17' harbercraft with a SJ down here on the Red Deer. He's had to dig himself out of the river lots. Sometimes the water is just too skinny to run in. It wasn't the boats fault when I got stuck. A canoe would have been the same, just a bit easier to put back in the water.
