Hello All, this Saturday, Aug 22, WCT will be putting on our summer rally.
We will be going dwn stream with the furthest out stop at the bottom of 5 mile Island. Great beach there with lots of parking. When we all arive back at the boat launch, Carl from Mega C Steaming will have dinner ready for us. All for $25/boat which includes 4 dinner tickets and 1 poker hand. Extra dinner tickets and poker hands for $5.
$500 for best hand, $300 2nd and $200 for 3rd.
Camping available at the launch, no sevices.
River is good and weather forcast is sunny.
Regestration 10am to 11am.

how far is it to 5 mile island and back? any worrries for gas ? how much further to that boat marina at ? Ft. Assinaboine, there was just a grand opening a month or so ago ? |

From Whitecourt to the bottom of 5 mile island one way is aprox 32 miles. Round trip +/- 64 miles depending on how much playing you do. Should not be an issue for fuel. Most boats would do this on less than half a tank.
From Whirecourt to the marina at the Fort. is 60 miles.
Correction on Daves note "registration is 11:00 to 12:00"
