Went for a trip on the Murray river today with the intention of going to see Kinuseo falls. Made it about half way there when the boat developed a very bad vibration and knocking noise. Thought something was wrong with the pump so pulled it apart on shore and all looked ok.

Pulled the spark plugs and when I brought the number 6 cyl to TDC I could push the piston back down about 3/8 to 1/2 an inch with a screwdiver. Pretty sure the con rod bearing went. The rod did not break as the piston still goes up and down and no hole in the block so hopefully she's rebuildable. Will find out when I pull it apart tomorrow.

Anyone know of a good source for a rebuild kit for a 175.
