Just wondering if any 'play' in the front yoke is accectable? I had this bearing replaced when I first got the boat and when greasing it this morning I checked it for movement, and it seemed a lil' exsessive. I'm assuming it should be fairly snug?

about zero movement is good. Is it up and down or front anb back. Either way is no good, it's possible the bearing was improperly installed

Up and down and side to side (same shit). I'm guessing if there's enough play there to be a concern I should get it replaced and not try and make the year? This means pulling the motor to replace that correct?

You will not make the year unless your leaving it in the shop / i dont think you have to pull the power plant it will give you more room /you will not like what happens when that bearing goes away crank????.Later.
