After a little thought there is a drain hole in the adapter plate just in front of the exhaust risers. Its a small hole prone to plugging that I think people drill out a little larger. |

Little water left in there froze and pushed gasket out over the winter. Simple job you need to pull the engine and replace gasket. Hopefully you can get a chain hoist and lift the engine enough to sli ... |

Plugs ,fuel filter, alt belt (every year) keep a spare coil , fuel lift pump, plugs, alt belt and oil tank filter with you. |

Reeds are on the front of the motor behind the intake air horn . Pulling the motor is not necessary unless you have a bulkhead really close to the intake. The reeds in a 240 are composite and not meta ... |

Check that the reverse gate is clear of the nozzle and if good go over your pump to haul seal with a fine tooth comb any leaks on the seal and it will cavitate like crazy. |
