Changed my mind on the uhmw. I'm going to go with the slip coat instead. Better choice for my style of boating. I think Some skinny,some bigger rivers and more hours in the salt water. |

I have heard of some guy's dropping there jets down 2 sizes to .072's. I have heard that it improves starting and gives a little bit more rpm. I run my boat mostly at sea level around Vancouver Island ... |

Thanks for the tips guy's. I guess it's not as slow as I had thought. As for the fuel economy, I do not have a flo meter but I believe I get 5-6gph at 4000 rpm 30 mph and 11-12gph at 5250 rpm at42 mph ... |

More power is always better! I spend a lot of time at wot. My hole shot and mid range I'm happy with, I would like more top end of course. It just doesn't sound like a 200 or 250 would make that much ... |

Yes it was like that from new. Lots of bumps and holes and some small pitting. It's not to bad now after some major elbow grease !! Should the back side of the blades be smooth as well? |
