Thats a Rex Marine thermostat housing. You can get them from Rex Marine directly or I would think Eagle would have them. Have run them on various boats.

Does it have QT 100, SS impellor, travel top, bimini top with side and back windows? Whats the bottom look like? How many hours on the motor?

Anyone still have one of the 2003 World race programs? They raced Whitecourt to 947 bridge and the 947 bridge to Hinton. The milages should be in that program.

How far is Whitecourt to Hinton on the river? Hinton to the Park Boundary?

ZZ383 is a gm crate motor. They come complete long block with intake and valve covers. There have been lots sold up here where i'm from and they work really well.

Call Southgate Chevrolet in Edmonton. Buy a ZZ383, bolts right in where your 350 is now. Pay a good mechanic to set uo the timing and carb.

3 1/2 inch Kodiaks or 4 inch? If they are 4 inch you are not likely to see any gain in your tach or actual performance on the river. You wallet on the other hand will see a dramatic difference.
